Hi guys, I know it’s been a pretty difficult period as a result of the current pandemic. Some people can barely feed or do the normal things they usually do.  However, I would really like us to think of some good things that have happened as a result of the lockdown. For instance, I sleep more... lol!  I am getting thicker and fuller in all the right places ;) I have also learned new skills like data analytics and a bit of web design and so on.  If you are reading this, I would like you to leave a comment on some things you’ve managed to do or learn during this period which you probably might not have achieved that much rapidly except for the lockdown.

The funny part is that when you have to go for something serious like an interview or to give a speech while telling you to be yourself, they also say you should be confident, be funny, be this and that, what if me being myself is just me being boring and being shy and being messy? Again, have you noticed that we tend to pick up characteristics (sometimes unconsciously )when we hang out or date certain people? For instance, if you did not eat chocolates a lot, you might notice an increase in the quantity of chocolate you eat when you have a close friend who you hang out with a lot that loves eating chocolates.                       Me: Oh my god, I'm so tired today Her: You are always, tired, every time tired, are you pregnant? Me: (laughs) Maybe, I'm probably pregnant, who knows. plus I'm hungry too. Her: (irritated) Didn't you eat in school today? You are supposed to have a plan, the number of hours you will spend in school and... ...I've never been so angry for being hungry and tired, I'm probably angrier because I am trying to bring up a conversation to remove the awkward silence between us as we cooked dinner, the only thing in my head was the topic of my hunger and tiredness and she took that information, wrapped it so tightly with so much disgust and irritation for complaining so much and spat it back at my face. I've just been ruminating over the conversation we had all evening, turning it over and over in my mind. Why would she say that to me? what does she even take me for? the overly tired, always complaining...

You see, in as much as we want to make it, I’ve come to realize that making it involves a continuous struggle to keep learning, keep striving and keep improving. The first goal might be to be the biggest artist, however, in the next 5 years, the goal has to change because no one can be the biggest forever, however, we can continually improve on our plan to fit into the life ahead of us because truth is, we constantly outgrow our goals but can not quit trying to be better versions of ourselves.

Right now, it's really disturbing that almost everyone in our present generation is somewhat crazy about sex, they talk about it on every social media platform, they give references to it, joke about it and also upload videos and images emitting sexuality. I'm not saying it's bad to be fully aware of ones sexuality but is it the most important thing in our plate right now?  I mean, not to sound like a kill joy but isn't it disturbing that now it seems child molestation is on the rise, rape cases and so on and if you check well, it might be tied to the excessive sexual content that is seen every day, some times it's so difficult to avoid even though we are supposed to protect ourselves from such exposure. Isn't it funny that at that point you quickly buy that material with a slight feeling of happiness because of your friend's misfortune.  Another scenario is when you just bought something for a rather outrageous price but because you know it's very important it didn't hurt so much. The moment your friend tells you she got the same thing for free, it just begins to feel like a big balloon of jealousy mixed with anger and ganished with pain is amount to burst up I'm your heart....

I have this habit of buying oversized shoes. This is not because I like them big but because I want to be comfortable walking around in my shoes.  A size below is usually way too tight, the right size is good but it still hurt my toes and a size bigger is just too big. I rarely wear high heeled shoes, only on special occasions and for the same reason -comfort on my feet.  I didn't realize how ugly I looked on my feet till my friends brought my attention to it, they always said my feet looked like they were running away from me because they are way too long or they would say if someone saw me coming from a distance, they would first see my feet before they saw me.   The value of honesty can never be over rated.  Often times, we lie and ask God to bless the lie. Some lies are considered small and insignificant, some are called "white ", some are said to save ourselves from a particular situation and some others are said in the form of a joke but often times we tend to ignore who is on the other side of our lies, what does the person's impression of us become, would the person over look it since it's a joke, would the person take it to heart wondering why we had to lie in the first place. Actually, honesty mustn't be reflected in what we say, it can also be in how we say it and in what we do. A lot of stories have been said about this place, from being the hub of foreigners in China, with a very beautiful environment, to being one the most expensive places to live in China and so on.  It all made my longing to visit this place really high so when I saw an opportunity to, it was only natural to take it.  From the moment I commenced my trip to the day I got back to my city had me filled with a feeling of ecstasy not because of the city of Shanghai or what I found therein but because of those I travelled with.  Really great people whose ideas are not just interesting but informative, every argument made sense, every moment spent with them just felt like the right thing to do. But just like no star falls, nothing really happens. It is only a continuation of the previous day. If you decided to change somewhere in August, your life would have been better in August; same for September and November. It is the decision/willingness to change that really makes people better. Ok, so I'm gisting with my roommate and we are discussing the silly things we did as teenagers.  Remember when you were busy making midnight calls to one boy that year, when you were sneaking around at night like a rat looking for a comfortable place for the call. I particularly remember how many times my mum seized my phone just because the noise from my laugher at night was so loud. If I tell you say I still remember the name of the boy I was talking to then, you know say I dey lie. That time you would willingly volunteer to fetch water so that you can have the time to meet your secret boyfriend and chat a little. If he buys something for you, you would also sneak into the house and then share it with your favorite sibling because if you give others they might tell on you. I remember how many times the food I was cooking got burnt simply because I was on 2go and my papa no dey hear that kind talk o, he would always deduct the estimated price of the kerosene spent on the b...

A look at this picture would send a message. It just depends on the interpretation we give. Some would prefer to see it as focusing too much on the little things that the bigger or more important things gets ignored. Some others might interpret it as appreciating the little things and knowing that without the accumulation of the little, there might not be a bigger version. Whichever way we choose to look at things, events, or occurences in our lives, depends sorely on us. Everyone including you is entitled to their opinion but the way you choose to view life determines how you get to live it.  

Imagine being best friends with Telemundo the Indian Channel. Ridiculous right? Do you remember that passage of the Bible that says if men don't worship the Lord, He would raise stones to worship Him? Well,  I think same goes here, if people no longer value each other and decide  to no longer be friends, well, things like Telemundo take their place. Well, things haven't exactly been great for Mr. O.  He went from loosing his job to loosing his wife, then loosing his friends and getting a new job, winning his wife back to loosing his salary and loosing his wife again.
