Fight for your Love
For my readers who are Christians, have you ever been in a position where you felt you needed to grow your relationship with God, you want something more than just pray and read the Bible, you actually want to hear him speak directly to you, as a result, you fast and pray tirelessly for a deeper understanding of Him, even gave up your old ways, things you know or feel aren't giving Him glory, you start listening to preachings online, you even delete your worldly songs and download a lot of Gospel songs. You do all these and more, only to find yourself sinking deeper in sin after a while, you begin to repeat the evils you gave up in the past but this time, it feels worse. This could probably be because during this process, you've asked God for something but it felt like your prayers weren't answered, so probably out of unintended rebellion, you find yourself backsliding.
Please don't give up fighting for God's companionship, the devil is probably upset about the new relationship you want to build with God so he is looking for ways to hinder you. Don't give him the pleasure of seeing you lose. Of course you might not get it right at first, you would fail sometimes but please keep fighting for your love of Christ, remember the wonderful things he has done in the past, renew your mind, think positive and always remember the crown of glory for those who fight till the end.
Thanks!
