That means we are actually our SOUL not the BODY. Most people are yet to understand this that's why they keep paying more attention to the need of the body than that of their soul.    I just lost my flip flops. In search for them I had to go from one room to another on my bare feet.the idea of walking around in the dirt makes me mad.I just can't believe it,how can I leave something here just minutes ago only to come back and find them missing,where does this happen if not in a hostel environment where there are students in dire need of something, whatever it maybe, even the most useless commodity is wanted by someone.    I can't seem to find my flops anywhere and because I don't have any other as a replacement, I'm subjected to walking on the dirty floor,asking questions about them. The moment something gets missing, nobody will have an idea of It's whereabout. Now,I'm crying.I'm crying because my mum warned me about losing my things and before she can replace something she had already bought, I would have to show her the old item.    It was on October 19. My birthday. I woke up to a lot of calls and texts from friends and in my heart I thought it was going to be another normal birthday where friends and ofcourse banks where you have an account make you very special but it turned out to be a rather wonderful day.     As I sat in a bus to school, I thought about how even though it was my birthday, it felt like a very normal day to me except for the tons of messages I had received and were to receive . I knew someone that looked nice with his shades on sat close to me but I didn't want to pay attention to him, it was my birthday and instead of thinking of how to celebrate, I only had thoughts of my activities for the day, my classes and assignments.  I came to myself when the young man beside me asked for a particular faculty in school, I told him I was to alight at the same place so he should relax and wait till I was about to alight. You know that moment when you are so trilled about starting something new but you don't really know how to go about it, I guess I just had that moment. I opened this blog with the help of a friend (onyia next) but ran out of ideas on what to publish on it,I didn't want to do the regular gossip about events happening around, I wanted something different, something unique and I think I've come up with that. I'm so sorry for taking so long to come up with something and I really hope and pray that this blog would go a long way to teach people, to help them through life and to make light their burdens as I tell about my everyday experiences as a female adult nigerian who happens to be an undergraduate and her struggles to make something out of life.  Thank you.
